Nancy Bryan Trahan- Wilson 79, from Talco, Texas passed away on May 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones, after years of medical issues. She was a fighter and a warrior for God and family. Visitation will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on Saturday May 15, 2021 from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Services will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery in Talco, Texas. Nancy was born in Cooper, Texas on September 25, 1941, at her grandmother’s home. She lived most of her life in Orange, Texas. She attended school and became an LVN while raising 3 children on her own. In 1975 she met and married Alphe Trahan (Joe). As her children grew up she went back to school and became a RN. In 1990 Joe and Nancy moved to Mt. Pleasant, Texas on an adventure to become cattle ranchers. They retired from cattle ranching in 1998 when Joe was diagnosed with cancer. They then moved to the Talco, Texas area. Joe passed away in January of 2005. Nancy then met John Wilson and married him in 2011, gaining 5 sons. John was by her side for the rest of her life. She was the smartest, most talented person. She was a wonderful mother, ranch worker, Nurse, hunter, artist and crafter. Nancy was proceeded in death by her parents, Lacy and Edith Bryan, sisters, Geneva, Cheryl, brothers, Ike, W.R, granddaughter, Vanessa, sons, Bryan, Chuck and Johnny Wilson She is survived by her husband, John Wilson, daughters, Dana and husband Fred, and Patty Denise, sons, Sean and wife Maria, Charlie, James and wife Corrine and Patrick. 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-laws, Barbara and Christine and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends she considered family. |
