
Marion Broussard was born January 15, 1937, and passed away August 24, 2026, at the age of 89.
Marion was a feisty and stubborn woman with a passionate spirit and a heart full of love. She was honorable, strong-willed, and deeply devoted to her family. Those who knew her will remember her determination, her warmth, and the love she so freely gave.
Marion found joy in the simple things in life. She loved gardening, knitting, sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She also had a deep love for all things patriotic and took great pride in her love of country. Through her many passions, she shared her creativity, her talents, and her love with the people around her.
She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange, Texas, where her faith and community were an important part of her life.
Marion will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her feisty spirit, generous heart, patriotic pride, and unwavering love for her family will remain in their hearts and memories forever.
She is survived by her husband, Calise Broussard; children, Keith Broussard and wife Patsy, Angelia Arnott, Joe Broussard, John Broussard and wife Frances, Jay Broussard and wife Carie, and Lynn Mitchell and husband Ray; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Fay Broussard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anies and Orelene Breaux.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2026, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 4320 Meeks Drive, Orange, Texas.
