Jacklyn “Jackie” Denise Wright was born September 24, 1958, and passed away January 1, 2026, at the age of 67.
Jackie was a loving, selfless, and caring person who always put family first. She loved to cook and bring everyone around the table. Strong in both heart and spirit, Jackie faced life as a true fighter, never giving up even in difficult times. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication to family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Allen Wright; daughter, Jessica Cashion and husband Jessie; grandchildren, Anthony Wright, Jared Wright and wife Graysen, Savannah McLennan, and Emily McLennan; great grandson, Weston Matthew Wright; brothers, Terry Damge and John Damge; mother-in-law, Dorothy Coleman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Wright and wife Sissy, Lisa Carson, Judy Cavanaugh and husband James, Tenika VanWinkle, Tisha Wright, Paula Solis and husband Tony, Aaron VanWinkle, Clayton Wright, and Rodney VanWinkle; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Jason Wayne Wright and Justin Allen Wright; parents, John and Mildred Damge; brothers, Rick Damge and Gerry Damge. fathers-in-law, Ronald Allen Wright and Bill Coleman; mother-in-law, Darlene VanWinkle; and brother-in-law, Zane Carson.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Victory Worship Center, 809 West Rd, Houston, Texas. Bro. Matt Damge will be officiating.
