The LCM Lady Bears started the second round of district play off with a win against the Jasper Lady Bulldogs 7-2. The Lady Bear offense dominated the game and the defense held it down. Stats on the night were Annabelle Fisher with 3 goals and 2 assists, Mariah Ammons with 2 goals, Taylor Bull with 2 goals, and Maya Meadows with 1 assist. The Lady Bears will play Silsbee at home on Tuesday in a varsity only match at 5pm

The Bridge City Cardinals (12-3)(5-2) defeated the HJ Hawks by a score of 4-1 on a cold night in Bridge City. Hudson Campbell opened the scoring with a penalty kick. Nate Stafford scored two goals and Austin Bellanger also found the back of the net. Playing well defensively for the Cardinals was Austin Bellanger, Eric Carranza and Jagger Carlin. Sebastian Sandino played well for the Cardinals at keeper. The Cardinals home stretch continues as Jasper Bulldogs comes to town Tuesday night with JV starting at 5 and varsity to follow. The JV Cardinals (8-2-2) defeated HJ JV by a score of 9-0. Scoring for the Cardinals was Judson Carlin, Brayden Mcrae and Will Myers who all had two goals apiece. LJ Gutierrez, Jason Gutierrez and Ethan Pridemore all had one score each. Playing well defensively for JV Cards was Alan Torres, Lennon Wheeler and Kaleb Graham.
