An Orange County man is in jail after making the mistake of stealing in Jasper County.
Jasper Co. Sheriff Chuck Havard said, “I’m happy to report that we arrested 50 year old Michael Hetzel of Vidor, for taking a deer feeder that didn’t belong to him on a hunting lease in south Jasper County. We went to his job and put handcuffs on him. He’s been charged him with theft and criminal trespass. Although he committed this theft in a mask and under the cover of darkness, it didn’t take us but a few minutes to identify him. Thank you to the citizens of Jasper County for all of your help.”
