Charlyne Mae Flynt Hand was born August 28, 1969, and passed away July 14, 2026, at the age of 56.
She was a woman whose presence could never be ignored. Loud in the best way, full of life, and known by just about everyone she met, she had a personality that filled every room. She had an incredible memory and seemed to know something about everything. If you had a question, she usually had the answer.
Family was the center of her world. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and, especially, her grandbabies. They were the light of her life, and she cherished every laugh, story, and memory they shared together. Her love for them was unconditional, and they will forever carry her wisdom, humor, and strength in their hearts.
She never missed an opportunity to cheer on her grandbabies. Whether it was softball, baseball, football, or basketball, she was always in the stands, proudly making sure everyone knew who she was there for. Without a doubt, she was the loudest one in the crowd, cheering with all her heart. To her family and so many others, she wasn’t just a grandmother, she was everyone’s Ma Maw, a title she wore with endless love, pride, and devotion.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Hand; children, Shea’ Burris and husband Jacob and Krislyn Hryhorchuk and husband Justin; grandbabies, Petey, Gunner, Baelynn, Kohen, and Jensen; father, Charles “Chuck” Flynt; siblings, James Flynt and wife Traci, Paul Flynt, and Crystal Douga and husband James; niece and nephews, Johnnie, Corbin, Cameron and Mallory; Aunt Ony Buxton and husband Bobby; cousins, Sherry and Vinny Venegas and daughters, Bryanna, and Yazminn; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Jody Hand.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Mae Flynt; grandbabies, Jailynn Burris and Brantley Burris; and mother and father-in-law, Edgar and Betty Landry
