Kollyn Brown of Little Cypress-Mauriceville will advance to the State Track Meet after winning the 4A Region III discus with a toss of 153-05. The State Meet is May 6-8 in Austin.
He was the only athlete from Orange County to advance on Friday. Several other field events and the running finals will be held Saturday at Challenger Stadium in League City.
