On Monday, August 25, 2026, officers with the Vidor Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist near the 300 block of Highway 90 west after observing the rider commit multiple traffic violations.
During the traffic stop, officers observed the subject attempt to conceal an item believed to be illegal narcotics. Following a brief investigation, the subject was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, in an amount greater than 4 grams but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
The subject, Michael Williamson was later transported to the Orange County Jail.
