Sure we need rain but not on the opening day of high school football! The National Weather Service is calling for increasing rain chances for Thursday and Friday.
Dry conditions will remain Wednesday but this Thursday and Friday, rain chances increase, and we have a marginal risk (Level 1 of 4) for flash flooding as a front stalls across the region. The flooding threat will be localized, as widespread rainfall amounts are forecast to be between 0.5 to 1.5 inches.
