Two people were transported to a Beaumont hospital after a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred in front of the Home Depot on Strickland Drive. Police received a call around 5:45pm about the accident. A Toyota Sequoia pulled out of the Home Depot parking lot and was struck by a Toyota pickup traveling on Strickland.
The engine of the pickup caught fire. The Orange Fire Dept. was called to put the fire out. Both vehicles only had one occupant and both were transported to St. Elizabeth in Beaumont by Acadian.
