William Eugene Moore Jr., affectionately known as “Kunta” and “Will Mo”, 54, of Orange, Texas, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the comfort of his home, with his wife by his side.
Born Wednesday, January 26, 1972, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, he was the son of Janie Mae (Wilson) Moore of Orange, TX and William Eugene “Billy” Moore Sr. of Okmulgee, Oklahoma
Being an only child, William quickly made the neighborhood kids on the block his siblings.
Will started work early in life and has worked construction for well over 30 years.
Will love to fish and hang out with his friends and family. When he was not working, he was easy to find either putting the boat out in the water or as he liked to say, “making a few blocks.” Will was always the one to keep you laughing and make sure you had a great time. His antics will be truly missed!
Will leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Darlene, affectionately known by Will as “Warnell”, one son, William Eugene Moore, III of Houston, TX, one stepson, Clint Williams (Jaleciya) of Orange, TX, his neighborhood siblings, L’Tawnya Boullard (Dwain), India Bass-McDonald, Taj Bass and a host of family and friends.
Will was proceeded in death by his parents, Janie and “Billy” Moore.
