A Vidor woman has been arrested after police say she kicked a nurse in the stomach at a local hospital.
According to a Beaumont Police report, officers were dispatched shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, September 3rd, to St. Elizabeth Hospital on Calder Avenue in reference to an assault.
Officers met with a nurse identified as Crislynn Young, who told police she was attempting to give a patient, identified as Gracey Weber, a shot when the incident occurred.
Young said two hospital security guards were attempting to restrain Weber when Weber turned around and kicked her in the stomach with both feet.
Young told officers the kicks caused her pain. Another nurse who was at the scene also confirmed Young’s account of what happened.
Weber was arrested and charged with assault on hospital personnel. She was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, where she was booked on the charge and turned over to jail staff.
