We all know there’s a lot of bad things about social media, but sometimes it’s worth applauding, especially when it turns into a detective.
Wednesday evening Joann Weible of Mauriceville posted a video of two women, including one in a walking boot, driving up to her roadside farm stand off of Texla Rd. and preceded to help themselves to just about all of her product which included jarred and baked goods.
With the help of a couple of hundred shares on Facebook, Weible told KOGT late Wednesday night that both women, one from Mauriceville and one from Gist, had been identified. Formal charges are expected.
