Bridge City boys and girls teams had the night off but everyone else played on Tuesday.
It was a great night to be an Orangefield Lady Bobcat as both the JV and Varsity teams ran away with victories at West Orange-Stark in district play.
The JV began the night strong, defeating the Lady Mustangs 35-17. Kaylea Gravett was a big scorer for the Lady Bobcats with 11 points. Both Kennedy Thibodeaux and Alexus Maddox added 6 a piece, and Brianna Moore and Ava Dyer chipped in 5 each.
The varsity Lady Bobcats continued the night with an astounding 56-38 win over the Lady Mustangs. Harleigh Rawls continued to be a leader on the board with 18 points and 3 assists. Joli Ponfick followed closely with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals. Nipping at her heels was Kenadie DuBois with a double-double…12 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals. Greenlea Oldham chipped in 9 points, with 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Madison Greenway also got some of the action with 4 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
The Lady Bobcats will be at home Friday night, playing the LCM Lady Bears, and hunting for another victory in district play.

West Orange Stark erased a six point deficit at the half and beat Orangefield 57-46.

LCM (3-0) beat Vidor 53-34 behind 18 from Ben Elliot and 14 from Da’Marion Morris.

Deweyville defeated Beaumont Harmony 67-34. Hunter Hoffman led with 13 and Ryan Bland came off the bench to add 11.
