
The Orangefield Bobcats started their second round of district play against the Warren Warriors. Warren took a brief 15-14 lead and then the Bobcats went on a 24-0 run and a victory of 84-38. The Bobcats were led on the night by Jaden Scales with 30 points (including 8 three pointers) and 3 assists, Carson Willis with 11 points and 10 rebounds, Rylan Agerton with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists, Jaxon Agerton with 8 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals and EJ Jones with 9 points and 4 assists. The win pushes the Bobcat’s district record to 8-0 and 24-3 overall. Orangefield will travel to Kirbyville on Friday for a district matchup with the Wildcats. The Bobcat JV squad picked up a win by a score of 40-18. The Bobcats were led by Will Rutledge and Kolte Morgan with 10 points apiece.

Cardinals 77 Mustangs 54 – Bridge City was led by Jiraiya Jennings with 29 pts, Aaden Bush with 18 pts, and Braydon Denison and Nolan Tran chipped in with 8 a piece. Cardinals (7-0) move to 18-9 on the season and start the second half of district off with a great win. WOS was lead by Braydon Gipson with 16 and Geramicah Davis with 14. WOS travels to LCM Friday. JV Cardinals also grabbed a win keeping them a perfect 7-0 on the district season as well. BC hosts Vidor Friday.

After a tough loss on Friday, the Vidor Pirates drop one to Jasper 67-60 to fall to 4-3 in district. The Pirates had a two point lead with 2 minutes to go but couldn’t hold on.

GIRLS
The Lady Bobcats picked up a big win over the Warren Lady Warriors, taking the game 51–18. Olivia Smith led the way with a double-double, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 steals. Kendall Sullivan added 8 points, 3 rebounds, and a steal. Brooklyn Wagoner had a solid all-around night with 6 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals, while Madison McCormack chipped in 6 points and 3 rebounds.
The Lady Bobcats will be back in action on the road this Friday as they take on the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats. It will be varsity only, with tip-off scheduled after the JV boys game at approximately 5:45.

BC Lady Cards got out to a 50-9 halftime lead and didn’t look back in a 73-21 win vs WOS. Aubrey Small scored 15 points. Rylee Hebert (11 points), Mia Sterling (10 points), Kenlee Putnam (9 points). Kennedy Campbell led the team with nine rebounds and Kaylee Britten led the team with six assists. BC travels to Vidor for their next game on Friday. WOS was lead by Kyla Blagburn with 8. They will play LCM Friday.
