The Orange County Texas Exes alumni chapter has awarded scholarships to three local 2026 high school graduates who plan to attend the University of Texas at Austin this fall.
Bridge City High School Salutatorian, Emma Buysse, is the Wynne Hunt Memorial Endowed scholarship recipient. She plans to attend the McCombs School of Business at UT.
West Orange-Stark graduate, Baylee Lowe, received the June & Jesse B. Gunstream Endowed Scholarship for Academic Excellence. She ranked fifth in her graduating class and plans to study computer science at UT.
Mishell Zambrano-Mendez is a graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville, ranking eleventh in her class. She is a recipient of the Judge Pat Clark Endowed scholarship and plans to major in government at UT
