Outside of work, Stephen loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He had a special love for flowers and took great joy in caring for them and watching them grow. His time spent outdoors and the simple pleasures of life brought him happiness and provided many cherished memories for his family.
Stephen will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Paula Zambardino; his stepson, Tommy Smith; his grandsons, Mason Smith and Thomas DeWayne Smith; his granddaughter, Destiny Wright; his sister-in-law, Lynn Dowden; his sisters, Catherine Goza Kelley, Anna Greer, and Ann Herman; and his brother, Joe D. Zambardino.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Zambardino and Annette Orlando Zambardino; his brothers, Mark Zambardino, Matt Zambardino, Michael Zambardino, and Damian Zambardino; and his brother-in-law, Larry Turner.
Though Stephen’s passing leaves a great void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through his family, the lives he touched, and the many cherished moments they shared together.
