The Celebration of Life for Mr. Richmond Daugherty, Jr., 80, of Orange, will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11am at the Mount Baptist Church.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 until 11am.
Richmond Daugherty, Jr. was born November 7, 941 in Orange, Texas to Adetha (George) Daugherty and Richmond Daugherty.
On Wednesday morning August 3, 2022, God allowed HIS heavenly angels to touch Brother Daugherty and lead him to his resting place.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Warlean Guillory, Betty Lou Cross, Mary Dell James, and Celestine Miller and three brothers, George Daugherty, Sr., Joseph Daugherty and Hebert Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories seven sons, Richmond Dwight Daugherty of Orange, TX, Trevour Daugherty of Opelousas, LA, Tevis Daugherty (Leontyna) of Houston, TX, Marcus Daugherty (Kayla) of Opelousas, Robert Joseph of Denver, CO, Alangdo Brandon Collins of Houston, TX and Toshain Marks of Milwaukee, WI, three daughters, Pamela Daugherty of Bernstadt, KY, Patrina Hanna (Elbert) of Austin, TX and Richelle Daugherty (Joseph) of Opelousas, two sisters, Martha Lee Locks and Tommie Reddix, both of Orange, one brother, Albert James Daugherty (Vanessa) of Orange, 47 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
