Circe Pelias and Blaze Williams of Vidor High School will be advancing to the finals of the Stark Reading Contest after winning the VHS competition. Pelias was first in Declamation and Williams won Interpretation, both receiving a $2500 scholarship.
Ethan Ochoa and Tara Vander received a $2000 scholarship for finishing second.
Also competing were: Melynda Willet, Isabella Findley, Sean Hibbs, AnaLiis Bertrand, Mia Ramos, and Rachel Morgan.
