Peggy Louise Caillavet passed away on September 22, 2016 with her family in Beaumont TX. She was loved by many and touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Ranked number one in the state the West Orange-Stark Mustangs are playing up to that ranking by defeating their first four opponents by an average score of 50 to nothing. Last week’s lopsided win gave Coach Cornel Thompson the opportunity to play a lot of young men. Med Helicopter Transports One After Wreck
At approximately 7:30p.m. Thursday, the Texas Department of Public Safety received a report of a two vehicle crash on Highway 62 in Orange County. The crash occurred approximately one mile north of FM 105. A Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway 62. A Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling northbound on Highway 62. For an unknown reason, the driver of the Chevrolet crossed the center dividing line and struck the 18-wheeler in its rear axle. West Orange police Thursday afternoon arrested 32-year-old man on a warrant for the aggravated robbery of Sally's Beauty Supply Wednesday morning. Assistant Police Chief Jesse Romero said citizens helped identify the suspect after kogt.com posted surveillance video recordings of the robbery Wednesday afternoon. Romero said Corey Duane Adams of Orange was arrested Thursday afternoon outside a store in Mauriceville. Police had obtained the arrest warrant and had been looking for Adams. About 25 persons attended the community focus group Thursday sponsored by the Orange County Economic Development Corporation (EDC). This was the second such strategic planning session this week for the EDC.
