Blue Santa Held Saturday

Saturday was the annual Blue Santa giveaway sponsored by the Orange County Sheriff's Department.  Sheriff Keith Merritt and his elves gave toys and wrapping paper for 437 children. Randall Glenn Roberts 54, passed on to his promised home with Jesus peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was an Orange native born September 20, 1962 to Renfro (Buddy) and Sarah Pauline Roberts. Randy loved any outdoor activity and wood working. Randy married the love of his life Lisa and from that union came his greatest accomplishment, his son Rickey. Annie Rose Helton, 78, of Riverview, Florida, formerly of Nederland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her residence.   Annie was born on January 25, 1938 in Morris, Louisiana to parents Eunice (LeLeux) and Milton Hargrave. She had lived in the Port Arthur area, Nederland for 15 years and the last 2 ½ years in Riverview, FL. Annie was of the Catholic faith attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting and working crossword puzzles. Earline Gibney Garrison, 89, of Orange, Texas, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 14, 2016, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Private funeral services are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home. Born in Orange, Texas, on July 13, 1927, she was the daughter of Earl and Johnnie Mae Gibney. Earline was a lifelong member of McDonald Memorial Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.D. Garrison; and her sister, Mary Ann Gibney.
