The Mustangs defeated the Bridge City Cardinals 48-43 Tuesday night at Mustangs Gym. Senior K. J. Miller had a big hand in the victory finishing as the leading scorer with 17 points. Cowboys Gear Lands Man In Jail
One man was preparing for Sunday's playoff game by supporting his favorite team, but his effort put him in jail. The Cowboys "bling tumbler" and Cowboys "fuzzy dice" had to go back to the store and the man is charged with theft. Police went to the store at the Pilot Truck Center at 6:37 a.m. Sunday after employees called about a man stealing items. Officers stopped the man walking away near the store on Highway 62 and carrying a bag. The Bridge City High School cheerleaders recently competed at the UIL Spirit State Championship in Forth Worth, TX . After competing Wednesday in the three separate categories of Sideline Dance, Crowd-Leading Cheer, and School Fight Song, the squad made the finals, ending the day ranked 10th out of 80 4-A schools.
