Demonstrators with hand-lettered signs were at the West Orange-Cove CISD administration building Friday morning to march against putting two senior football players into the Academic Education Center. Four Seed Bobcats Beat One Seed Hornets
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats trailed early but rallied to defeat the Lufkin Hudson Lady Hornets 3-2 Friday night in Jasper. The victory moves Orangefield into the Area Round of the playoffs. Devany Crain hit a tiebreaking homerun to left field in the fourth inning to give the Lady Bobcat a lead they never relinquished. Weaver, Short, Leavings and Murdock had 2 hits a piece. Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School brought home two State Championship teams and one fourth Place finisher from the recent UIL Academic Meet. Protesters At WOCCISD
A group of 20 or more are in front of the West Orange-Cove Administration Building protesting the school's handling of students Morris Joseph and Rufus Joseph, who were the students allegedly involved in the assault of a man at Crystal Beach during Spring Break.
