Students in Mrs. Kimberly Spears’ OHS Ready, Set, Teach program traveled over to Lamar University’s Student Summit for CTE students on Friday. Students were able to hear from both Student and Faculty Discussion Panels about careers in Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Nursing. We were invited by, and so happy to see, former RST students Mary and Maddie Wernig. Mary, Speech and Hearing Sciences Major, made us so proud by being the student moderator of the Faculty Discussion Panel.
