Once again the I-10 westbound turnaround at Adams Bayou is closed after a truck tried to run through the guardrail, thinking the feeder road goes straight across the waterway.
Friday morning around 3:30am an Orange police officer was patrolling the west bound service road of I-10 feeder road and rolled up on the single vehicle accident
The officer searched the vehicle and found it to be abandoned. They found the driver at the hotel nearby after he walked there looking for help. He then became ill and unresponsive as the Orange Fire Dept. administered narcan to bring the driver back before he was taken to a hospital.
As of now the turn around has now been closed by TxDOT until repairs can be made.
