The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) answered 73 calls to service last week from January 24th, 2022, to January 30, 2022. We currently have 19 inmates in the following Jails, 10 housed in Newton, 9 housed in Jasper. Last week there were 3 individuals booked into the Jail.
