The rivalry between O’Shaquie Foster and Raymond Ford reached another chapter Saturday night at Houston’s Fertitta Center, where Foster defended his WBC super featherweight title in a bout streamed live on DAZN.
The fight was tightly contested through the first six rounds, with neither fighter able to gain a clear advantage. However, Foster turned up the pressure more than Ford in the second half of the bout to get the decision.
Foster ultimately retained his WBC super featherweight championship with a majority-decision victory, earning scores of 114-114, 118-110, and 116-112. Both fighters connected on 20 percent of their punches.
