The Celebration of Life for Mr. Donald W. Banks, 70, of Beaumont, TX, will be Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at 12 Noon at New Beginnings Outreach Ministry under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.
Visitation will be from 10am until 12 Noon.
Donald Wade Banks was born in Pineville, LA, on Sunday, September 2nd, 1956, to Evelyn Jean Simmons and Eddie Lee Banks.
He died on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont, TX.
A U S Army Veteran, he was Discharged with Honors.
Working years were spent as a Longshoreman.
He is survived by the love of his life, Rebecca Sims of Beaumont, his daughter, LaDonna Banks of Houston, sister, Natalie Nelson of Beaumont, grandchildren, Nevach Ezeh, Marquesha Patterson, Kennedi Banks, Jacari Baines, Jamari Baines, four nephews, brother-in-law, Ollie Williams of Orange, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Trica Lynette Williams.
