Retired WOC educator Bettie Curtis recognized two fourth graders for their success in becoming a published illustrator/author during a WOS Elementary School morning assembly.
In February, third graders Travion Mills and Sean Alexander King published “Trouble Maker and the Joker: Attack of the Elementer.”
Sean Alexander King is the author and Travion Mills is the illustrator.
Ms. Curtis, during the first six weeks of school, presented Awards of Merit for each in front of the student body in order to recognize and encourage academics and scholarship, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
