He found joy in riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers, and cherished time spent camping. Cha-Chee was often found “piddling” in his shop, a place where he could tinker and create. He possessed a remarkable ability to connect with others, always willing to talk to anyone and everyone he met. To his beloved grandchildren, Cha-Chee was affectionately known as “Poppa.” His family was the center of his world, and he adored them deeply. He loved cooking big meals, especially his famous gumbo, bringing everyone together around the table. Cha-Chee was a man who stayed busy, always finding something to do, and his compassionate nature extended to animals, as he had a big heart for rescuing them.
