The Orangefield Bobcats brought home three golds from the 22-3A Field Events Wednesday in Anahuac. The top four from the field events advance to the Area Track Meet.
Haylee Spears won the discus with a throw of 106-8. Natalie Black won gold in the long jump 16-2.25 and Gavin Gravett won the pole vault with a jump of 12-6.
The Bobcats Zach Morrow and Blaine Lenard finished second and fourth respectively in the pole vault. Morrow was also third in the Long Jump.
Carson Worthy was second in the 3200 and Rylan Agerton fifth.
Greenlea Oldham was fourth in the discus and Charlee Sanches sixth. Oldham was also third in the shot. (31-6)
Griffin Thomas was second in the high jump (6-2) and Owen Simms was fifth (5-8)
Tyia McKnight was third in the long jump (14-8.25) and fifth in the triple jump (30-6). Hallee Becker was third in the pole vault (8-0).
In the team standings, the boys are currently first with East Chambers a close second. The Lady Bucs have a large lead over the second place Lady Bobcats in the girls standings.
The running finals are Thursday in Anahuac.
