
Billie Sue Stark Jordan, age 83 years, 5 months, and 4 days, passed away peacefully in her home in Orange, Texas. Her long life was filled with love, laughter, faith, and the joy she found in the people she cherished most.
Billie loved to fish, and she treasured every moment she could spend with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into each generation with a tenderness that will be remembered for years to come.
She loved going to church, and her beautiful singing voice was one of the gifts she shared freely. Whether she was lifting her voice in worship or humming around the house, her songs carried warmth and comfort to everyone who heard them.
Billie is survived by her children, including her daughters: Karen Caillier (Zane) and Rebecca Jordan, both of Orange. TX, Tammy Jordan of Jackson, MS and Vera Pickering of Center, TX; sons are John Jordan (Kellie), Rodney Jordan (Rhonda), both of Burkeville, TX, Elton Jordan of DeRidder, LA, Roger Jordan (Robbie) of Evans, LA and Roy Jordan of DeRidder, LA.
She also leaves behind a legacy of 36 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, and 38 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lona Stark: her husbands, R.D. Jordan and James Wright: her son, Robert Jordan; her daughters, Frances Phyle and Georgia Milstead; her grandsons, Elton Jordan Jr. and Michael Wallace and her granddaughter, Jackie Sue.
Billie’s life was a testament to love – steady, generous, and unwavering. Her family will carry her memory forward in the stories they share, the traditions she began, and the deep affection she gave so freely.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother George Swain will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Zane Caillier, Johnathan Loftin, Robert Jordan, Jr., Jeremy Jordan, Travis Jordan, John Thomas Jordan. Burial will follow the service at Burr Ferry Cemetery.
