Everyone was in action Tuesday night but the West Orange-Stark Mustangs who had the night off.
In boys action the Orangefield Bobcats held off East Chambers 53-46. Sophomore Jaden Scales scored 16 of his game high 20 points in the first half including three 3’s. Zane Wrinkle had a big game with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 7 steals. Kane Smith added 9 points and 3 rebounds and Mason Manning 7 points, 2 rebounds. LCM lost in double OT 54-47 to Lumberton to fall to 1-2 (10-15). LCM had three in double figures led by Jonah Fuller’s 19, Jayden Benton 12 and Alantheon Winn with 12. Bears host Jasper at 6:15pm Friday.

Deweyville lost to Veritas Academy 41-34.

BC defeated Vidor on the road 57-44 as the Cards shot 14-17 from the free throw line. AG Gutierrez, Lincoln Breaux and Aaden Bush all scored 14 for the Cardinals who improve to 2-1 (16-10).

GIRLS
The Lady Bobcats took on the East Chambers Lady Buccaneers tonight at home and are finishing with the sweep. The Varsity took a close win over the Lady Bucs 40-35. They were led by Gigi Oldham who had 13 points and 6 rebounds. MiKayla Locke had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Olivia Smith led defensively with 5 steals and 4 rebounds while also chipping in 5 points. Kaylea Gravett also had 6 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists
The JV got the night started with a well rounded 52-22 win. Kendall Sullivan had 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 steals. Madison McCormack had 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals. Eliese Gravett had 11 points and 5 steals, and teammate Harley Beaudoin had 2 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Casidy Childers also fought hard for 4 rebounds and 5 steals. The Lady Bobcats will travel to Anahuac on Friday to finish the first round of district play.

Deweyville improved to 1-1 in district with a 76-34 win over Hull-Daisetta. Emilee Totino poured in 29. Jillian Thompson had 17 and Adisyn Thompson scored 12.

BC Lady Cards beat the Vidor Pirates 49-41 to improve to 4-1. Kennedy Campbell led BC with 14 points and Kaylee Britten added 10 rebounds.
