Manka Melson, 25, of Vinton, was found guilty Friday of murdering a young couple at a home on Coronado place in the Charlamont addition in January 2021.
He will serve the rest of his life in prison without parole.
Aaliyah Gradnigo,18, and Thalamus Livings, 23 were shot and killed at the home. Police were able to piece the case together through the thousands of texts between Melson and Gradnigo, as well as security camera footage.
The trial was held in the 163rd District Court with Judge Rex Peveto presiding. Krispen Walker prosecuted the case.
