Chase Shugart improved to 3-0 on the season Tuesday as the Greenville Drive defeated the Kannapolis Intimidators 12-3 in Class A ball.
Shugart gave up three runs on four hits, struck out five and did not walk a batter for the complete game victory. Out of 93 pitches he threw 63 for strikes in the South Atlantic League contest.
