On May 20, 18 year old Raymond Joseph Donahue III, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Robbery in the 163rd District Court. Donahue elected to had the court assess punishment.
It was on the evening of August 25, 2025. Donahue was inside Little Caesar’s on 16th St in Orange when he approached and grabbed his 31 year old victim from behind and demanded money. Donahue was wearing a ski mask and had a gun. After the robbery Donahue left the store. There were customers in the lobby and employees behind the counter when the crime took place. Surveillance footage lead Orange Police to Donahue. Asst. District Attorney Reese Rhodes represented the county in the case.
