The Jaguars of Buda Johnson High School are headed to the State Tournament in 6AD1 after winning the Region IV Championship against East Central.
The Lady Jags are lead by Coach Katy Snell, a 2004 grad of West Orange-Stark. After graduating from Texas State, Snell coached at Lockhart and after a few years as an assistant, she took over the program and lead them to eight straight playoff appearances.
She was selected in 2019 to take over the softball program at a new school, Lady Bird Johnson HS in Buda. She’s made the playoffs the last five seasons and now will be playing the winner between Cy-Fair and Pearland in the semifinals. Good luck coach!
