Tuesday’s meeting of the Orange Rotary Club introduced a new President and Board as Paul Dickerson wraps up his year of serving as club President. He handed the gavel over to Maureen McAllister, who runs United Way of Orange County.
Soon-to-be District Governor Dana Espinal was in attendance and conducted the swearing in ceremony along with showing appreciation to Dickerson for time served. Serving under McAllister will be President Elect Lorrie Taylor, Vice President Suzanne Davis, Treasurer Misty Kibodeaux, Chad Kemp will be Secretary and David May is Sergeant-At-Arms. Gracie Henry is once again Executive Secretary.

Perfect attendance awards were also handed out. One year certificates were given to Kibodeaux and Kristin Placette and McAllister has had perfect attendance for two years. Sarah Boehme has been perfect for 14 years and it’s 18 straight for Gracie Henry. And the big daddy of the group, Eddie Toohey, has had perfect attendance for 35 years.
Four Rotarians also received Paul Harris Fellow certificate and pin for their donations to Rotary International. They include McAllister, Kibodeaux, Liz McKee, and Holly Smith.
