Willie Cornelius Wilson, a resident of Orange, Texas left this world peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Willie was born in Silsbee, Texas to Ruthie Lee Hasley. He graduated from Waldo Matthews High School in Silsbee, Texas where he was a proud member of the Class of 1962. He moved to Orange shortly after graduation.
He married Mildred Jones and to this union two daughters were born. Willie worked for Levingston Shipyard for numerous years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and was a Ford car enthusiast.
Willie was a devoted father who shared a deep bond with his daughters. He will be remembered for the quiet ways he showed he cared and will be missed.
Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie Lee Hasley; and brother, Wayne Edward Hasley. He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Patrice Wilson Washington (Malcolm) and Carla Wilson Holmes (Michael) both of Houston, Texas along with a host of cousins and lifelong friends.
