At approximately 10pm Saturday the railroad crossing on Western Ave. in West Orange was reopened. It happened less than 24 hours after 17 cars derailed Friday night.
Clean up will still be taking place but the priority was reopening the road, especially with Dayton St. already down to one lane for reconstruction.
