Posted 1am Saturday – At 11pm Friday night a train derailed on the tracks the run parallel with Foreman Rd. in West Orange.
The only street that is blocked off is Western Ave. and it will be blocked for some time as crews begin clean up.
Authorities reported 17 cars had left the track and that there was no evidence of hazardous material on the ground. Also nothing in the air to be concerned of as crews surveyed the area.
Homeowners in the area talked about how loud the noise was and it shaking their homes.
There were no injuries reported. Check back for more as the investigation continues.
