
UPDATE: The pedestrian was identified as Reynaldo Porras, a 62-year-old male from El Paso, Texas. Porras was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. At this time, no arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed. Justice of the Peace Judge Stagner has ordered an autopsy to be completed. The incident remains under investigation by the City of Orange Police Department.

A man was killed Tuesday evening when he was struck while he was riding his bicycle.
The accident was called in around 7:15pm and Orange Police and Fire arrived to the eastbound I-10 service road at the Woodlark exit.
They found a man in the roadway. He was riding a bicycle and was struck by a silver Toyota Camry. He was pronounced dead at the scene by JP Hershel Stagner. The driver of the Toyota was not seriously injured.
