Extending the football season an extra month and a half would be an honor for most high school coaches but only a few get to do it each season. But it’s tiring, challenging and emotional. It’s more time away from family while trying to keep your work family motivated and inspired.
The WOS Mustangs have reached the pinnacle for the 2025 season. They play for the title Friday afternoon at 3pm in Arlington. Coach Hiawatha Hickman talks about the process, the efforts of his staff, and how his team is ready to take their 10 game winning streak to AT&T Stadium to face the Carthage Bulldogs.
