The LCM Bears traveled to Bridge City and beat the Cardinals 62-45. Braden Bridges led LCM (1-2) with 26 and Jackson Smith added 14. The Cards were lead by Austin Richardson’s 15 points on five 3’s. WOS lost to H-J 64-56. The Hawks broke open a close game in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Mustangs 21-11. Nakai Arnold paced WOS with 19 and Terron Brown added 17.
Orangefield beat Anahuac 79-29. Valentin Catt had 13 points and 12 rebounds. Logan Risinger added 11 and Kaiden Dubose had 9.
Deweyville beat Colmesneil 51-48. Ty Collier scored 17 and Gavin Buxton 9 to lead the Pirates.
Vidor was off.

WOS lost to H-Jefferson 75-15.
Orangefield traveled to Anahuac and won 67-30 after jumping out to a 22-1 lead after the first. Faith Fregia outscored Anahuac with 33 points and 3 steals; Jacey Bourque 4 points 4 steals; Emmi Lummus 9 points 7 steals 6 assists; Tatum Garlington 5 points 4 steals 4 rebounds.
Deweyville improved to 2-0 in district with a 47-26 win over Sabine Pass. Jada Freeland lead with 28 while Aleigha Raymer added 6. DV will play a non-district game at Bob Hope HS on Friday.
LCM defeated Bridge City 55-26. Brielle Butler and Chelsea Perry scored 14 each for LCM (3-2). The Lady Cards (2-3) were lead by Hannah Wiegreffe’s 7 points.
Vidor nipped Lumberton 63-62 in non-district play. Chriseline Quirante scored 25 points, Americus Guerrero – Evans 22 points, Macy Lear 5 points 6 rebounds for Vidor. The Lady Pirates also shot 17 of 21 (80%) from the free throw line. Back to district play this Friday at home vs. PNG.
