Orangefield wrapped up an undefeated 22-3A district campaign with a 5-1 win at Anahuac. Kaleb Menard pitched a complete game one hitter with 10K’s and 3 walks. Cameron Dearing lead the offense on 3-3 hitting with a walk, a run scored and two RBI’s. The Bobcats will face Woodville in the Bi-district round, TBA.
While the Bobcats have Friday off, our 4A squads still have a district game to play Friday.

The Bridge City Cardinals shutout WOS 11-0 in five innings to secure their 27th District Championship in school history. Austin Frederick hit a three run homer in the second and finished the day 2-3 with 4RBI’s and two runs scored. Connor Riojas also had two hits in the game as Landon Reeves and Brayton Tregre combined to throw a one hitter. BC (9-2) will travel to WOS (1-10) Friday for the final game of the regular season.

LCM beat Silsbee 8-2. For the second straight game, Marco Bandiero drove in four runs, going 3-4 with 2 doubles. Jacob Scheiderer was 3-5 with 3RBI’s. Landon Richards struck out 8 in the win. The Bears (8-3) have won seven straight and will host the Tigers (6-5) on Friday.

Vidor beat Jasper 15-5 to improve to 8-3 in district. The Pirates scored 12 runs in the first inning and pitchers Sims, Parish and Bryant combined to limit the Bulldogs (1-10) to four hits. The two will play again Friday.

Deweyville lost to West Hardin 22-8. The Pirates will host the Oilers on Friday to wrap the regular season.
