LCM opened their OC Classic Tournament with an 8-3 win over Woodville. Marco Bandiero got the win striking out 5 in 5 innings and he also had a 2 run double. Fry and McCarver also had 2 hits for the Bears.
WOS was leading Liberty 6-4 until the Panthers scored 12 in the 5th for a 16-6 win. Mustangs tallied 10 hits with W. Lee going 3-3 and B. Williams 2-3.
Vidor lost to Liberty 4-2 despite 8K’s and just 2 walks from pitcher Bryce Bushelle. The Pirates collected just four hits in the game.
At the Jasper Tournament, Bridge City beat West Fork 12-2. It was a sensational day for starting pitcher Aidyn Mulhollan. He gave up just 1 run on 5 hits and struck out 5 in four innings. And at the plate he was 3-3 with 3RBI and 3 runs scored.
Orangefield was 1-1 at the Navasota Tournament. They defeated Mumford 7-1 scoring 4 runs in the fifth. Caleb Fregia had 2 hits and Matt Johnson had a 2 run double. Kaleb Menard with a four hitter and 5K’s in the win.
The Bobcats lost to Navasota 5-4. The Rattlers walked it off on a run scoring double. Fountain was 3-4 for the Bobcats.
