TxDOT BEAUMONT – As part of the I-10 Widening Project, contractors will begin demolition of the
FM 365 overpass at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, and continue through 5 a.m. on
Monday, April 20.
During this period, traffic on the main lanes of I-10 eastbound and westbound will be directed to
the frontage roads.
Following the demolition, detours will remain in place until construction of the new overpass is
completed, which is anticipated in late 2026.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) held multiple meetings with stakeholders who
will be affected by this work. We received input from groups such as volunteer fire departments
and the local school district.
TxDOT recognizes that construction can be inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience as we
work to deliver this project as efficiently as possible.
