Bridge City boys and girls and the Orangefield girls brought home trophies Saturday after winning tournaments that began Thursday.

Cardinals (10-3) take home 1st place at the Evadale Invitational Tournament. Led by Jagger Carlin with 17 points and Aaden Bush with 16 – Cards jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats won the Kolache Classic today by beating Mexia in the championship 48-45. Mikayla Locke: 19 points/ 8 rebounds/ 3 assists, Madison McCormack: 7 points/ 3 rebounds, Brooklyn Wagoner: 7 points/ 4 rebounds/ 5 steals. The Lady Bobcats will take on Kountze on Tuesday (12/10) at 5pm in Kountze.

The BC Lady Cards went 5-0 in the PNG Tournament, beating Nederland Saturday 28-21. BC is now 17-0 on the season and will host LCM in a district game Tuesday.

The LCM Lady Bears had a great weekend going 5-0 in the PNG Tournament. They defeated PNG 39-26, Nederland 39-14, Liberty 35-24, Buna 47-29, and WOS 42-22.
The JV also competed in the Deweyville Varsity tournament this weekend. They were resilient and grew as a team. Also, freshman JV team member Madi Scott was voted to the All Tournament team.
