Tanner James Feagin, 27, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on August 10, 2024, in San Augustine, Texas.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange, Texas.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 27, 1996, he was the son of Christina and Russell Feagin. Tanner dedicated his life to the art of electrical work, serving as a Journeyman Electrician at Jefferson Electric and being an active member of the local IBEW union. Outside of his professional life, Tanner found solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether he was casting a line while fishing, tracking game while hunting, or simply enjoying quality time with his family and friends, Tanner’s love for nature was evident to all. His adventurous spirit and love for life served as an inspiration to those around him.
Described as a man with a huge heart, Tanner was cherished by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Tanner James Feagin leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he had on those around him. In honoring his memory, let us carry forward the values of kindness, generosity, and camaraderie that Tanner exemplified in his too-short time with us.
Tanner is preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Smith; and his grandmother, Deanna Feagin.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Christina and Russell Feagin; sister, Shelby Feagin; grandmother, Nora Smith; along with numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends.
May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to brighten the lives of all who knew him. Tanner will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless individuals whose lives he touched with his genuine kindness and infectious spirit.
