William “Will” Harrison Nash, 54, of Nederland, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026, at his residence. A native of Beaumont, Will was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Nederland.
Will proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked in purchasing for several local refineries. He was a man who enjoyed staying busy and making the most of the things he loved. He enjoyed going to the gym, spending time at the beach, and especially loved drag racing. One of his most treasured memories was building a race car with his father, Leland “Ray” Nash. The time they spent working side by side and sharing their love of racing created memories that Will carried with him throughout his life.
Recently, Will accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. This was a deeply meaningful decision in his life and brought him comfort and peace. His faith, his family, and the memories he shared with those closest to him will forever remain a part of the legacy he leaves behind.
Above all, Will loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his daughter and his three grandsons. His family will remember not only the things he enjoyed doing, but also the laughter, conversations, and everyday moments that made their time together special. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Will is survived by his loving daughter, Breanne Morrell and her husband Garrett of Orange, Texas; his mother, Judy Nash of Vidor, Texas; his brother, Jim Nash and his wife Dolores of Orange, Texas; his sister, Toni Schultz and her husband Dave of Fort Worth, Texas; and his three grandsons, Cayson Lopez, Cameron Morrell, and Hayes Morrell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leland “Ray” Nash.
Though Will’s time with his family was far too short, the memories he made and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family will carry those memories with them, knowing that the moments they shared with Will will always be a part of their lives.
